The late morning starting time for this 4.5-hour experience is flexible, depending on whether you are already in the Douro Valley or taking the train from Porto.
10:00h – Make your own way to Folgosa quay and meet your skipper at 10:00am for your private boat trip. Optionally we can collect you from your Douro Valley hotel or Régua train station.
Once on board the sailing boat, sit back, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the peaceful surroundings on the way to the picturesque village of Pinhão, the heart of the Douro wine region.
12:00h – You’ll disembark here for a tour at a local winery and enjoy a guided wine tasting session with views of the river.
13:30h – Embark again to return to Folgosa quay. Your lunch will be served on board so you can admire the gently shifting landscape while savouring regional flavours including*:
